About Us

Thank you for taking time to get to know who we are. The Setaro Family stepped into the restaurant business in 1970 when Cosmina and Antonio, Sr. opened Antonio's Twin Oaks.  Both immigrants of Salerno, Italy, the pair brought their Italian culture of food to their new home, Oxford, CT.  In their hometowns, fresh food and simple ingredients was the way to cook for your family. 

Brothers Christian and Antonio, Jr. followed in their parents' footsteps when they opened The Original Antonio's in Woodbridge in March of 2006, then Beacon Falls in March 2009.  Under the watchful eye of Mom Mina, Chris and Tony aim to serve a taste of their authentic Italian background with fresh, innovative dishes, modern drinks, and most of all new friends.

"Not only are we humbled to open The Original Antonio's in Ansonia, but we are proud to have the support of our new friends and partners, the Nocerino Family", Chris Setaro.

Mina resides in Oxford as does Chris, his wife Melissa, and their four children.

Tony and his wife Katy reside in Wolcott with their four children.
